AIovert is an EU-based, on-device browser DLP tool that classifies and blocks sensitive data before it is entered into consumer AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
Why we exist
Every day, employees paste customer records, credentials, and confidential documents into AI chat tools — and traditional security stacks cannot see it happening. Network DLP sees an encrypted tunnel; endpoint DLP watches files and USB drives; policy documents watch nothing. AIovert was built in 2025 to close exactly that gap: a browser extension that classifies what an employee pastes, types, or uploads on-device, blocks it when it contains sensitive data, and offers a one-click masked copy so work continues.
Privacy is the product
The raw content of what an employee typed or pasted is never stored, transmitted, or logged. AIovert transmits only the classification label (for example SSN or API_KEY), the AI tool's domain, the action, a timestamp, and a one-way SHA-256 hash used solely for deduplication. That architecture is documented in detail in the Trust Center and contractually in our Data Processing Agreement.
